My name is Kalek Timothy and I am an   animation student at Cicely Tyson Middle/High school,The type of art that i am into is a more cartoonish approach to art where everything is fun and bubbly but can also be serious when it is needed,I  like art this way because  I think that it gives art a more happy approach and lets your creativity run free. My favorite cartoons are Samurai Jack, Steven Universe and Dexter's laboratory, I think the art styles of these shows are fun loving for kids but just dark enough for adults to watch as well for example  steven universe  can be very childish but also be very serious, art interests me because i feel like I have free rein over what i'm doing and how I have complete artistic control over what i'm drawing and have fun while i'm doing it. I love animation because I think that it's fun and lets me be creative enough to have my artistic expression to pour through into my drawings and show how much I enjoy art and how much i love it .
